Professor Howard teaches Legal Methods I and II and Special Education Law. Prior to serving as the Interim Director of the Law Library and Research and Writing program, she founded the BREN Special Education Legal clinic in 2019 and served as its first director working to defend the educational rights of children with disabilities and their families. Mrs. Howard graduated from San Joaquin College of Law as valedictorian and with high honors. During her time in law school, she received the George A. Hopper Moot Court competition award for Best Brief, the Fresno County Women Lawyers Justice Pauline Davis Hanson Scholarship, and various Witkin Awards for Academic Excellence.
