San Joaquin College of Law does its utmost to provide students with a positive and successful educational experience. SJCL is accredited by the Committee of Bar Examiners of  the State Bar of California, giving SJCL its degree-granting authority and  permitting SJCL graduates to sit for the California Bar Exam. SJCL is also accredited by the Accrediting Commission for Senior Colleges and Universities of the Western Association of School and Colleges. Should a student or prospective student have a complaint or concern regarding the College, he or she is encouraged to contact the Dean, jpearson@sjcl.edu, or other school administrator to address the matter.

Practice Outside California

Study at, or graduation from, this law school may not qualify a student to take the bar examination or be admitted to practice law in jurisdictions other than California. A student who intends to seek admission to practice outside of California should contact the admitting authority in that jurisdiction for information regarding its education and admission requirements.
