The BREN Clinic serves children with special needs in seven Central California counties. Our services are always entirely free.

Your gift to the BREN Clinic goes directly to helping children with special needs access the supports necessary to achieve their educational goals. In 2023, the BREN Clinic served 201 clients, winning them over 2,400 hours of compensatory services, and over 4,400 hours of ongoing weekly services. All attorney’s fees won as part of these settlements are negotiated into additional services and supports for our clients. The well-being and success of our clients is our priority.

Additionally, the BREN Clinic trains law students in special education as well as providing an annual advocacy training series for parents, caregivers, and professionals.

Impact of Your Gift

• A gift of $25 a month for a year, covers the cost of a supervised law student helping 3 students with special needs.
• A gift of $50 a month for a year, covers the cost of a supervised law student helping 6 students with special needs.
• A gift of $100 a month for a year, covers the cost of our team’s participation in one Individualized Educational Plan (IEP).

Larger individual donations are welcome as well. All donations are 100 percent tax deductible.
