Fishman, Larsen & Callister, a business law firm in Fresno California is seeking an employment law associate with 0-3 years of experience to participate in management-side employment compliance work, and to assist with employment litigation cases.  Applicants should possess excellent academic credentials. The successful candidate will assist with handling compliance matters such as:

  • Wage and hour audits;
  • Workplace investigations;
  • Development of workplace policies and practices; and
  • Training programs for employers.

This attorney will also businesses in civil litigation, arbitration and in administrative proceedings involving:

  • Wage and hour, class action and PAGA;
  • Discrimination and harassment claims;
  • Wrongful termination; and
  • Complaints filed with the Department of Fair Employment and Housing, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission, the Labor Commissioner, Cal/OSHA, and the Employment Development Department.

The work is sophisticated, complex and rewarding. Associates interact directly with clients to develop and implement strategies to comply with employment laws and to successfully defend client in litigation.
