We are seeking a Staff Attorney to become a part of our Fresno team! You will represent clients in civil legal proceedings including trials, draw up legal documents, and advise clients on legal transactions related to civil defense litigation. This is a wonderful opportunity for attorneys seeking civil trial experience.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in civil court and civil litigation proceedings, including trials
- Prepare and draft legal pleadings and other documents on behalf of clients
- Advise clients on business and legal transactions relating to civil defense proceedings
- Negotiate settlements for legal disputes
- Comply with all legal standards and regulations
- Perform administrative and management functions related to the practice of law
Qualifications:
- Trial experience is a plus, but not required. Attorneys newly admitted to the State Bar of California are welcome to apply and will be considered
- Familiarity with civil pleadings and legal proceedings
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
- Ability to build rapport with clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
The salary range is $105,000.00 to $155,000.0 depending on experience.
