Professor Chiappetta is a partner at Perkins Coie LLP, an international law firm with over 1,100 lawyers. With over twenty five years of legal experience, his practice primarily involves the litigation of complex commercial disputes, with a focus on antitrust and unfair business practice claims, class actions, contract and partnership disputes, and intellectual property matters. Professor Chiappetta also has extensive experience counseling clients on issues relating to antitrust law and trade regulation, and has represented clients before federal and state government enforcement agencies in relation to mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and civil and criminal investigations. He has served as an international enforcer, spending four years of his legal career in Australia prosecuting cases on behalf of the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission. While attending the University of Washington School of Law, Professor Chiappetta was a member of the Moot Court Honor Board, and he was named to the Order of the Coif on graduation. He is admitted to practice in California, New York, the District of Columbia, and Australia.
