Student Technology Fee Program

SJCL’s student technology fee program is funded by a per semester assessment on each student enrolled at San Joaquin College of Law.  The funds are used to support IT needs for all students. Not listed below but also to be considered are the Mediation Clinic and the San Jaopquin Agricultural Law Review. Both student programs have ongoing computer/IT needs.

Funding Cycle 2010-11 ($75 Technology Fee)

  • Examsoft
  • Free Student printing (some restrictions)
  • Integrated Software to support online tools for registration and classroom materials
  • LexisNexis
  • Hein-on-Line
  • Upgrade entire student system for faster bandwidth
  • WestLaw
  • WiFi access points upgraded to support Internet computing for students

Funding Cycle 2009-10 ($25 Technology Fee)

  • Examsoft
  • Expand and provide faster bandwidth
  • Free Student printing (some restrictions)
  • Hein-on-Line
  • High use WiFi access points upgraded to support Internet computing for students
  • LexisNexis
  • WestLaw
  • Wireless network print server installed

  • Examsoft
  • Free student printing (some restrictions)
  • Hein-on-line
  • LexisNexis
  • Purchased projector for classroom use
  • Student Portal for Online Registration
  • Westlaw

Funding Cycle 2007-08 ($25 Technology Fee)

  • Upgrade bandwidth to accommodate more student access
  • Westlaw
  • WiFi access points upgraded 4 locations

Funding Cycle 2006-07 ($25 Technology Fee)

Funding Cycle 2005-06 ($25 Fall Technology Fee)

  • Purchased three computers and laptops for students use and testing

Funding Cycle 2004-05 ($20 Examsoft fee)

  • Installed WiFi system with access points throughout the building

Funding Cycle 2003-04 (Fall $15 Examsoft fee Summer fee $20)

  • Purchased 3 projectors for instructor classroom use
  • Upgrade wiring for laptop use in rooms 201, 203, 210, and 213

Funding Cycle 2002-03 (No fee)
